Fall Reality Show TV Programming

The latest season of Dancing With The Stars kicked off on September 19th, and promises to offer its typical dosage of entertaining competition. For those who don’t know, this is a show that pairs celebrities with dance partners to examine their dancing prowess. It is always loads of fun, and often leads to surprisingly fantastic dancing from popular public figures.

• The X Factor also began in late September, and has led to plenty of intrigue, as Simon Cowell’s new American Idol-style show. In fact, it is almost difficult to tell what distinguishes the premise of this reality talent show from Idol, but with Simon on board it is sure to be entertaining.

• The Real World is back as well, for those who still enjoy the popular MTV show that places young adults in houses together. This season, the Real World is in San Diego for the second time, and while this show is less popular than it once was, it still runs in much the same way, meaning that old fans may have a lot of fun picking up with it again.

• Just this week, “Gene Simmons Family Jewels” started, as the latest version of the sort of reality show that takes the public inside a celebrity’s lifestyle. Much like “Meet The Barkers” and “Viva La Bam” before it, this show simply takes us inside the lives of rock legend Gene Simmons and his family.

This list features only a few of the plethora of reality shows on television this fall season. However, they do provide a taste, for reality fans, of the variety available in the genre, particularly with an expansive tv channel package. If you are a fan of reality television, you will definitely want to look into such a package so as to be able to catch all of your favorite shows, such as the ones listed above.
