So we have this Reality Show blog here, and we aren't making many posts. I don't have time to watch too many shows and post. I also don't have Tivo or anything. I have a new kid and too many other jobs. I thought I had some people who would post but they "don't really watch reality shows" or don't have any time apparently.
Pay/Salary- hahaha. Seriously though. I have to be upfront about this. We have no budget. But we can probably work something out based on production, quality of writing, and of course ability to bring in money. If you brng in money, you make money. Initially I would say don't expect to make much money. But if you like watching TV and can write about it, maybe we can pay you enough to cover your Tivo and/or a chunk of your cable bill.
What we would really like is one/all of the following:
1. You are a huge fan of one reality show and you can write a couple in depth posts for every episode. You will also post about interesting behind the scenes things, lives of contestants, news and so on.
2. You watch several of the less popular reality shows and can make ~20 posts a week on a variety of shows in all topics. A lot of people watch Survivor, for example. It's not hard finding people to write about that ( or it shouldn't be), and the market is more saturated. But if you watch a lot of reality shows on cable or with more of a niche appeal, that might be more valuable for us.
3. You watch and write about ALL reality shows. If you don't watch when they come on, you Tivo everything. You read and have relationships with other blogs. You read news alerts and search youTube for anything interesting. You would be willing to make 50+ posts a month about 5-10 shows at a time. ( If you fit number 3, We want to pay you $$$$, eventaully and/or some kind of profit share).
We might even ask you to write for more blogs if you want to but this is the one that really needs the help now.
So here's the deal. If you currently blog or want to blog about reality tv for fun and a little bit of money ( more money if it does well, but no guarantees), send us an email to email@example.com
Include in your email: Any pertinent information about your blogging or writing skill and experience, pay expectations ( if any), availability, how much you can do, and when you can start.
