Survivor: China, the 15th season of CBS' durable franchise, opened with a lowest-yet 15.4 million viewers, down from 18 million for last fall's race-dividing Cook Islands. CW's Beauty and the Geek opened its fourth cycle and the first to air in the fall with a modest 3.4 million viewers Tuesday, down from 4.9 million in January.
Wednesday's America's Next Top Model (5.2 million) was on par with its past two openers.
